Home inspections are essential when purchasing a home, no matter it's age.  This is most likely the biggest purchase you will make in your lifetime.  A home inspection will reveal the true condition of the home.

Home inspections are the best value for dollars spent.  Three things it will provide are 1)Reveal things that are not visible to the naked eye 2)will provide a peace of mind and 3)will help you understand the required maintenance of the particular home.

In addition, the results of a home inspection can allow you to legally walk away from the contract during the option period.  It also can be used as a negotiation tool.  Or ask the seller for  a price reduction in lieu of repairs.

So do your due diligence and always have the home you are purchasing inspected.#Thehomeinspector's
